Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. Its name is derived from the Greek word Σείριος, or Seirios, meaning lit. ‘glowing’ or ‘scorching’. The star is designated α Canis Majoris, Latinized to Alpha Canis Majoris, and abbreviated Alpha CMa or α CMa. Our Story
In 2015, five partners started the first iteration of Sirius by opening an office in Tempe, Arizona. Our mission was to make a meaningful difference as a “values-based” boutique tax firm dedicated to helping struggling independent contractors – at that time, predominantly taxi drivers.
In the very next year, the taxicab market shifted with the emergence of rideshare companies and their market disruption strategies…and lost over 50% of our client base.
While the majority of partners decided to throw in the towel, one partner decided to take the reigns and breathe new life into the firm….
Today, we’ve expanded our market reach and deepened the scope & focus by becoming and full-service, A.I.-driven consulting firm to make a more meaningful and deeper impact not just on independent contractors, but on entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals across many industries by implementing and integrating high-level accounting, management consulting, and tax strategies and techniques.
